How to Import Packaging from India: Documents and Incoterms

First import POs fail on fuzzy specs and assumed documents. This is the sequence we use with buyers in the Middle East, Europe, the US, Africa, Russia, and South Asia.
1. RFQ
Product, dimensions, monthly quantity, destination, Incoterm, and whether you need a sample. Photos of the current pack help. GSTIN if you are an Indian buyer.
2. Sample
Sample cost is usually credited against the first bulk order. Export samples move by courier or air. Test on your line before you book sea freight.
3. Quote and PO
The quote states MOQ, lead time, payment, and documents. New buyers typically pay advance. Confirmed export shipments to date: Hong Kong and the UAE. Other destinations are quoted, not assumed.
4. Production and dispatch
Thickness, width, and roll integrity are checked on the line. Export loads leave with commercial invoice, packing list, and origin paperwork. We will not list certificates we cannot attach.
